Long-term Forest Ecosystem Research LWF

The LWF data consist of short- and long-term research study data with accompanying documentation (metadata). The long-term data series go back to the year 1994 (LWF) and 1985 (Sanasilva-Inventory) respectively. The LWF program annually generates around 25 million data values.

This cooling effect is particularly evident at some locations, such as Jussy. In contrast to the cooling effect during the day, the temperatures in the forest are often slightly higher than outside the forest:
